“Full” of Passion

How exciting!  Our Passion for the Village event May 23rd at Children’s Village is sold out!

Organized by Friends of the Village and YouthWorks because of their “Passion for the Village,” this annual event is a celebration of the passion shared for children with special health care needs.  This event is an effort of love by volunteers, parents and community members who have a true passion for Children’s Village.

You can still support these amazing passionate volunteers who have worked so hard at putting on this event by making a donation today in support of Passion for the Village. Simply call (509) 574-3209 or make an online donation at https://nc.memfound.org/childrensvillagedonate.

You can enjoy a relaxing evening at home and still be a part of this amazing event.  Tickets to the event cost $30, a babysitter would cost at least $30, a new outfit to wear to the event could cost up to $100… which adds up to nearly $200 for 2 people. So, a donation from home could be less expensive than actually attending, and the money you would spend will directly benefit children with special needs!

Those who make a donation to Passion for the Village by 5:00 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2013  will be prominently listed and recognized at the event and will receive a special event recap with photos and a special memento from the evening, as well as first opportunity at purchasing tickets for the 2014 Passion for the Village event.

Over the 15 years Children’s Village has served families in the Valley, it has seen unprecedented growth, and the need for services only increases every single year.  Events such as Passion for the Village not only strengthen and grow our community outreach, but provide resources to ensure innovative programs and services remain available to each and every family who walks through the door.
