Two Grants Received in October
The Memorial Foundation has received two grants this month for Children’s Village! The first is a $10,000 grant from The Seattle Foundation for pediatric therapy services at Children’s Village. This grant opportunity was made available to us through the generosity of the Yakima Valley Community Foundation, and will support speech, physical, occupational and behavioral therapies for children with special needs ages birth through 18. For children with physical and developmental disabilities, therapy services improve their quality of life, ability to function and developmental progress.
The second grant is a $4,500 grant from U.S. Bancorp for autism programs and support at Children’s Village. This funding will support autism diagnostics as well as behavioral and mental health therapies for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
We are so very grateful for these grants! Thank you to The Seattle Foundation, the Yakima Valley Community Foundation and U.S. Bancorp. Your gifts will touch many precious lives.
