Advancing Cancer Care in Our Community

Cancer is one of life’s uncertainties. All too often, a cancer diagnosis comes out of nowhere and sends the patient’s world into a total upheaval. During these trying times it is important that the patient, as well as their loved ones, be provided as much comfort as is possible to guide them towards a quick recovery. This is why advancing cancer care in our own community is so crucial. And it is why it is one of our foremost healthcare initiatives at Memorial.

By bringing the latest advancements in cancer care to our community, we are helping our fellow neighbors who have received a cancer diagnosis achieve a more positive outcome in their fight against the disease. Traveling great distances to receive state-of-the-art cancer care is extremely tiring, and has the potential to cause setbacks in the recovery process because of the additional strains this places on the patient. It is not something the patient, and their loved ones, wish to endure. And we don’t want them to. Together, we can continue our efforts to ensure superior cancer care is made available right here, at home, in Yakima.

There are many ways for you to make your impact in advancing cancer care within our community. Click here to discover how you can play an important role in shaping the future of cancer care in Yakima!
